Essentially, yes. Hemp and Cannabis plants both derive from the same species, Cannabis sativa. The only difference is that Hemp contains very low amounts of THC (<0.03mg THC in dry weight) and higher amounts in CBD, while Cannabis contains what we call the “full spectrum” of plant compounds and a much higher amount of THC (up to almost 98% in some strains).

So, since both plants contain Delta-9 THC, that means you will still get high with the same delicious tasting beverages around!!

Delta-9 (D-9)  is the compound found in both the Cannabis and Hemp plant that will get you high because it is a form of THC and therefore psychoactive. While other forms of THC exist, such as Delta-8, Delta-9 THC is the most important compound because it is found organically in the plants, rather than being artificially derived. 

D-9 THC is generally considered safe, when consumed responsibly by a person of legal age and limit. All of our products undergo testing for dosage and clarity before being packaged and sent out to our customers!

For our Swivel line, think of your regular sodas and seltzers. Our emulsion process is so advanced that you won’t taste a hint of the hemp, and they are just as refreshing as your favorite go-to beverage! Our Swivel beverage-enhancers can be mixed in with plain water for flavors of lime and tropical punch, or used in a mocktail to elevate your buzz. 

For our Tiger Tea line, both the Strawberry & Acai and Wildberry & Hibiscus green teas taste as great as those refreshers you get at a certain café... but better because it comes with a buzz!

Since you are consuming THC in beverage form, the average onset time is usually 15-20 minutes, but it can take up to 30 minutes for some people. Drinking one beverage which has 5 mg THC in it, can last for 1-2 hours, but if drinking multiple beverages back to back, the high can last for several hours.

Nothing besides a light, buildable buzz! Our products with THC and some with CBD can affect our consumers differently, so start out with one serving and see how it goes.

For new consumers, we recommend sipping on one beverage and waiting 20-30 minutes, then deciding if you’d like to sip another one or if you are already feeling good.
